Joe seemed pleased with the fact, replying: “So I hear, I’m flying the flag!”
What’s more, should he make it to the final, he will make history there again.
The actor is currently set to lift the Glitterball trophy after appearing to go on a favourable “journey”, according to bookmakers.
During their Argentine Tango routine last night, Joe and Katya stunned Strictly Come Dancing fans with an incredibly difficult balance move.
The pair showed off their core strength as they went parallel on each other, prompting BBC viewers to completely lose it.
One posted: “Joe & Katya’s Argentine Tango. OH MY GOODNESS. That ENDING!”
Another gushed: “How did Katya lift Joe?!!! She must have thigh muscles like a f**king kangaroo.”
