Strictly Come Dancing 2017: Brian Conley in explosive meltdown – 'This is a s**thole!'

The 56-year-old comic left the crowd stunned after he is said to have made some close to the bone remarks in jest, branding the studios a “s**thole” and hitting out at the toilet facilities.

Shortly after his elimination from the BBC series was announced, he apparently jumped onto the judges’ desk and said: “They only spend £25 on the toilet.”

He went on to tell judge Darcey Bussell that she was “the horny one”, according to The Sun.

Dan Wooton also spoke about the incident with Christine Lampard on today’s edition of Lorraine, saying: “Thank god it wasn’t live because Brian Conley, after he was voted out, went a bit mad.

“He stormed the judges’ desk, all of this was edited out and he used a bit of bad language to describe the studios.”

The comedian later said about his outburst: “I don’t regret what I said. I was having fun and the toilets here are terrible.”

“Brian was clearly joking and he has a really cheeky sense of humour which everyone in the studio saw. All the judges were crying with laughter!” a Strictly Come Dancing spokesman told Express.co.uk.

The star is the latest contestant to get the boot after he and professional partner Amy Dowden failed to impress the judges with their Jive to Tom Jones’ It’s Not Unusual.

They were up against Sunday Brunch chef Simon Rimmer and his partner Karen Clifton in the dance-off.

Speaking about leaving the competition, Brian said: “I have loved everything about this, I truly have. It’s one of the greatest shows.

“We’re going to pretend we’re still in it! So next week we are going to rehearse and then we will film it and our families are going to watch it and judge us on it.”

Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One this Saturday at 6.35pm.
