Strictly Come Dancing stars and their respective professional partners are regularly causing as much heat off the dancefloor as they are on it, and Brendan – who announced he is expecting his second child yesterday – addressed the curse rumours on the ITV show.
Piers Morgan, 52, quipped: “[Brendan] has to spend eight hours a day up to [Charlotte].”
Addressing the curse, Piers asked how long it normally takes to take hold.
“Generally pretty early,” Brendan, 41, smirked.
Brendan beamed over his Good Morning Britain partner ahead of the first live show this weekend.
“I’m very impressed by Charlotte,” he enthused. “Just her ability to learn and put it out there.”
The latest update comes after Charlotte, 41, spilled all on her previous dance experience in the latest edition of the Radio Times.
“I did ballet, modern and a little bit of tap as a child and thought it would come back to me,” she told the magazine. “But in the first group dance – nothing!”
Charlotte will take to the stage with Brendan for the first time this weekend after taking extreme measures not to look at the professional in training.
Strictly Come Dancing returns this Saturday at 6.25pm on BBC One while Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
