In a video uploaded to Instagram, Alexandra, 29, was seen trying to plant a smacker on her ballroom partner’s cheek.
However, Gorka appeared to dodge her kiss and focus his attention on the camera instead.
During the awkward encounter, Alexandra had tapped Gorka on the cheek before gently kissing him.
However, when she attempted to pull his head towards her the professional dancer quickly moved away as she tried to kiss him again.
However, this wasn’t the only rejection of the night for the former X Factor champion.
On Saturday night’s grand final, the public crowned Joe McFadden, 42, the Strictly Come Dancing champion forcing Alexandra to congratulate him, despite the judges scoring her performances higher than his.
Joe praised his partner Katya, 28, for his win, saying: “The routines have consistently been brilliant and Katya is such an amazing artist and dancer. Just being in the training room every day was such a joy.
“I mean, it was hard work, but it was a joy and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. No one said it was going to be easy,” he added.
Meanwhile, Gorka has been linked to Strictly contestant Gemma Atkinson, 32, after they posted a series of cosy pictures.
However, they have both denied they are dating, claiming to be just friend
