The Hollywood star certainly likes to keep her finger in many pies.
She’s currently flexing her muscles as Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl, in Lego Batman but she also moonlights as Diana Prince, in the animated Justice League and Justice League darker releases.
However, fans are buzzing at the idea she could head off for a certain distant galaxy to join the biggest movie franchise of all time.
The Latina beauty couldn’t contain her excitement on Twitter.
Dawson just announced her enthusiasm for playing the role of Ahsoka Tano, the hugely popular character from Star Wars Rebels.
She was one of the most well-known padawans of Anakin Skywalker, before he crossed over to the Dark Side and developed breathing problems. Tano elected not to stay with the Jedi and follows her own path in the hugely popular animated series.
Dawson had two simple words about the idea of bringing the feisty warrior to the big screen.

When a fan suggested that she should play the role, Dawson immediately tweeted back : “Yes please!#AhsokaLives #AhsokaTano”
Tano has never appeared in any of the films so far but with increasing reports that Anakin’s Force ghost could be appearing in The Last Jedi or Episode 9, now would be the perfect time to reintroduce her storyline to the main franchise.
Fans of a rival sci-fi series would doubtless be very disappointed by Dawson’s defection.
The actress is a self-confessed Trekkie and even demonstrated her fluency in Klingon on US television.
However, the Star Wars franchise attempts to put more female characters front and centre must give Dawson hope. Rogue One did feature a female lead, but only closer examination was sorely lacking any other dynamic leading, or even supporting, ladies.
Dawson has our vote to bring some more girl power to that galaxy far, far away…
