The first teaser for the new Star Wars movie was released back in April.
Since then there has only been a behind-the-scenes featurette for The Last Jedi.
Now Star Wars theorist Mike Zeroh, who claims he has a source at Pinewood Studios, has allegedly revealed when the new trailer will arrive.
In his new YouTube video, he said: “It will be attached to Thor: Ragnarok, both in IMAX 3D and 2D. So that will actually be happening on November 3 [October 24 in the UK] of this year.
He continued: “The release date range of Star Wars: The Last Jedi’s new trailer is October 14-19 of this year.
“So essentially any of those dates will be the official release of The Last Jedi’s trailer.
“A lot has be said about October 16 of it actually dropping. The same exact day of the season premiere of Star Wars Rebels.
“Though I keep saying to myself, I don’t know if Disney and Lucasfilm would want to drop the trailer on the same exact day…because I don’t know if that will draw attention away from the show.
Zeroh added: “The ticket sale date for The Last Jedi will be attached to the very ending of the trailer.
“The tickets won’t be on sale on the day of the release of the trailer. It’s gonna be a later date.
“My prediction is they will actually release the tickets online and in theatres for purchase in early November. Lastly, when it comes to the IMAX sequences in the trailer, only the Ahch-To and Canto Bight night shots are presented in true 70mm IMAX.”
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released in UK cinemas on December 14, 2017.
