Star Wars 8 SHOCK: How Rey helps Kylo Ren ‘resurrect Darth Vader’ in The Last Jedi

It is now less than a year until we can see the second instalment in the sequel trilogy.

However fans continue to speculate over the new movie, with all kinds of ideas about Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.

Now YouTube Star Wars theorist, Mike Zeroh, has come up with an amazing theory that will see Darth Vader resurrected in a very nostalgic way.

In his video, Mike, mentions how when Rey defeated Kylo Ren at the end of The Force Awakens, she left him with a damaged lightsaber.

The Star Wars fan argues that there are two possibilities: either Kylo Ren will be seen fixing his red lightsaber, or he’ll be given a new one – the latter of which is much more interesting.

However it wouldn’t be just any lightsaber, but Darth Vader’s very own from the original trilogy.

Mike reckons Kylo Ren will be gifted his grandfather’s lightsaber at the completion of his training.

This will be done by the mysterious

Now since Rey currently has Luke’s blue lightsaber – the one which was lost with his hand at the conclusion of Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back – this would mean something incredibly exciting for fans.

Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, could see Darth Vader’s lightsaber, clashing once with Luke’s newly returned weapon.

Director Rian Johnson recently shared the film’s title from the traditional opening crawl in his editing suite.

Meanwhile the next Star Wars spin off about a Young Han solo has begun filming this week.

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi is released in UK cinemas on December 15, 2017.
