The star is seen trying to get Rey (Daisy Ridley) to resist the temptation of the Dark Side in the latest footage.
In dialogue already heard on past teasers, she says with her eyes closed that she can see “light… darkness… and something else.”
Growing increasingly worried, she adds: “It’s calling me.”
“Resist it, Rey,” says Luke firmly, before yelling more urgently: “Rey!”
The TV spot is intercut with previously-seen shots, including Finn going head-to-head with Captain Phasma.
There’s also another look at Snoke, and Kylo Ren holding his hand out to someone – who has long been presumed to be Rey.
This is the tenth TV spot that has been released for the film in recent weeks, following the full trailer’s premiere last month.
And yet still many questions remain over what exactly the plot will entail, as actors continue to tout “surprises”.
Rian Johnson, who wrote and directed the epic, will then move on to a brand new trilogy, presumably for release after 2020.
First he’ll hand the reigns for the current story back to JJ Abrams, who is now in charge of Episode 9.
Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi is out on December 14 in the UK.
