SNL's Sean Spicer and President Trump Make Out in Unforgettable Sketch

President Donald Trump grabbed his press secretary by the… Spicey on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live.

Host Melissa McCarthy reprised her role as White House spokesman Sean Spicer, emerging from the bushes to knock Deputy Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders (Aidy Bryant) off her post to respond to rumors about Trump’s alleged ties to Russia following the termination of FBI Director James Comey.

After relying on a series of Russian nesting dolls to get his points across, Spicer was asked by the press corps if he’d ever considered the notion that the president lies to him on a daily basis, and why he would choose to believe a man who is this close to firing him? Realizing all of this could be true, Spicey then rode his motorized podium to New York, hoping to find POTUS at Trump Tower. He eventually tracked him down to an unspecified golf course in New Jersey, where an out-of-breath Spicer asked the president (Alec Baldwin) if he was being played this entire time. And that’s when things got interesting.

“I don’t think I can do this anymore, Mr. Trump,” Spicer said to the president. “They’re saying that you’re going to replace me with Sarah.”

“Sean, come on, I would never do that,” Trump insisted. “She doesn’t have your special spice: Salt and pepper, a little bit of sugar… Sean, kiss me.”

“I can’t. I have a wife. I took vows,” Spicer responded, before Trump assured him that “I’m famous, it’s OK.” The press secretary then asked POTUS whether this would be like The Godfather, “where you kiss me and no one sees me again.” Trump replied that that was definitely the case, then went in for the epic smooch.

What did you think of McCarthy’s latest turn as Spicer? Was it all a bit too much, or were you just happy to see McCarthy and Baldwin finally appear side by side? Chime in below (and check back shortly for complete video).
