Melissa McCarthy slipped back into her “Spicey” persona on Saturday Night Live this weekend to lampoon the White House Press Secretary’s gaffes in which he referred to concentration camps as “Holocaust centers” and minimized Hitler’s atrocities.
“Everybody shut up so I can apologize,” McCarthy’s Spicer said dressed as the Easter Bunny. “Yes, you all got your wish this week, didn’t you? Spicey finally made a mistake.
“As we all know President Trump recently bombed Syria while eating the most beautiful piece of chocolate cake America has ever laid eyes on,” he continued. “Now in defending the president’s decision, I said that the Syrian leader… [unlike] Hitler, never used chemical weapons and everybody freaked. They were all like, ‘Boo hoo! What about the holocaust?’ And yeah, I know they’re not really called ‘Holocaust centers.’ Duh! I know that. I’m aware. I clearly meant to say concentration clubs, OK?”

Spicey’s half-hearted mea culpa spiraled from there. After referring to Passover as “Jewish Easter,” he continued by making a wildly inappropriate joke about the mode of transportation used to take those detained by nazis to the death camps.
“I’d like you also to now that I’m sensitive to fact that they were sent there on trains,” Spicer said. “But hey, at least they didn’t have to fly United, am I right?”
Later, Spicer once again relied on his box of props to drop some knowledge “on all the goys out there,” using a pharaoh head to symbolize a “bad hombre” and a Vegetale doll to symbolize “the Jews.”
