The by Nintendo after months of speculation and rumours.

The SNES Classic Mini has a release date of September 29 and comes loaded with 21 games, including Super Mario World and the Star Fox 2.

The latter has NEVER been released before.

At launch there will be two different versions available, depending on what country you live in.

Like with the original SNES, the European and Japanese markets will get a mini version of the Super Nintendo and Super Famicom.

However, gamers in America will get a different design – which is a pint-sized version of the original, US design.

The SNES in Europe and Japan had nicer curves and less harsher edges compared to the rigid, box-like US SNES.

The American console also featured a white, grey and purple colour scheme.
