Strictly Come Dancing duo Seann Walsh, 32, and Katya Jones, 29, spoke about their kiss last week on It Takes Two this evening.
The pair apologised for their actions and for any hurt they had caused.
Professional dancer Katya also spoke out about her marriage to fellow Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones.
She told host Zoe Ball: “I apologise to everyone it hurt and it involved.
“I made a mistake and which I am very sorry for, I’m sorry for the hurt I caused.
“You never think about the extent of the damage you are going to do and the mistake that you made.
“I am not perfect, far from it. Our relationship wasn’t perfect.
“That doesn’t mean I wanted it to end the way it finally did. I am very sorry for that.”
The star went on to add: “It is also important for me to say, the people who know me the most, who love, know I am not the person I am being portrayed as.
“I’m still sorry for what I did but it’s very important for me to get that out there.”
Zoe finished the interview after the pair addressed their kiss and quickly moved onto the next segment.
Also appearing on It Takes Two tonight was Dr Ranj Singh and Janette Manrara who spoke about their Aladdin themed dance last week.
Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev also spoke about their upcoming Tango to Taylor Swift hit Look What You Made Me Do.
It Takes Two airs weeknights on BBC Two at 6.30pm.
