The former Blue Peter presenter returned to daytime television to share handy cleaning advice, which, unsurprisingly, went straight over Eamonn Holmes’ head.
Ruth Langsford, 54, was slightly more enthusiastic about the nifty tips but collapsed in hysterics when Anthea whipped out a plastic glove and a bottle of red wine.
Snipping off the glove’s finger tips, she popped the end on top of the bottle, unintentionally creating a phallic new wine lid.
Naturally, Ruth was rendered speechless as Anthea played with the tiny tip and proudly showed off her homemade device.
“Now, think what you can do with the rest of them,” continued Anthea. “Anything that fits inside, just pop them in there.”
Eamonn was forced to step in while Ruth tried, and failed, to compose herself.
“It would be a shame to let them go to waste,” he smirked.
Also on today’s programme, Britain’s Got Talent star Julie Carlisle, who won Alesha Dixon’s golden buzzer as part of dance troupe Just Us, explained she hopes to win the £250,000 prize fund for life-changing surgery that would save her career.
Though, some viewers were irked that ITV were giving the 16-year-old more airtime than her rivals, causing the ITV show of pushing for Julia to win.
This Morning airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
