To the untrained eye, Ben may have appeared as a newcomer to Riverdale – merely a pawn in Miss Gundy’s untimely death.

However, you have seen Ben in Riverdale before and you won’t believe where.

While this rumour remains merely speculation, time will tell if Ben will play a much bigger part in season two.

The bombshell comes after the trailer for Riverdale season two, episode two, which teased at more deaths set to rock Archie Andrews (KJ Apa).

Riverdale season 2, episode two, officially called Chapter Fifteen: Nighthawks, will be released on Wednesday October 18.
