Queen Mary takes style notes from Kate Middleton AGAIN in Ascot dress lookalike

Princess Mary of Denmark, 45, stepped out today looking every inch the royal in a stunning white lace ensemble.

The Crown Princess, who is married to Crown Prince Frederik, channelled British royal Kate Middleton, 35, in a white gown with a pussy bow collar.

The 45-year-old royal wore her brown hair in an elegant bun and large diamond earrings.

Silver bangles dangled around her wrists and she held tortoiseshell sunglasses in her hand.

She wore white pumps on her feet, and her make-up was fresh, with a pretty pink lip.

Crown Prince Frederik, 49, looked equally dapper in a brown check suit, a blue shirt and a maroon tie.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were visiting Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa, Ishikawa, during the Danish royal state visit to Japan.

The look was very similar to the outfit Kate Middleton wore to Ascot this year.

Kate wore a white, lace Alexander McQueen dress, with a high neck and a whit fascinator.

She added nude heels to the ensemble, which she wore to join her husband Prince William, 35, at the racing event.

This is not the first time Princess Mary has taken inspiration from Kate Middleton.

She stepped out in a bright pink dress, with a sparkling diamond broach.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been known to also wear the stunning bright pink colour.

Kate wore a striking £1,500 magenta coat when she was pregnant in 2015, and the colour is flattering for both the women, who look strikingly similar.

Mary also recently wore a dress very similar to Kate Middleton’s navy blue engagement dress, from fashion brand Issa.

She wore the gown at the UN Goalkeepers Global Awards Dinner at the Lincoln Centre in New York on September 19.
