Queen Letizia, 45, joined her husband King Felipe, 49, at the 34th ceremony of the ‘Francisco Cerecedo’ Journalism Award in Madrid, Spain.
And the royal decided to make the most of her fantastic figure in a very short mini dress.
The white dress featured white ruffles and black straps.
Letizia complimented the straps with a pair of black stiletto shoes.
Silver glitter could be seen sparkling in the light. But all eyes were on the mother-of-two’s perfect legs and toned arms, which were on full display.
Known for her slender physique, the Spanish Queen and former TV reporter Letizia has been admired for years – but how does the 45-year-old manage to keep her figure so trim?
It’s all down to a particular diet she follows that many will have never heard of.
On a day-to-day basis the Spanish royal eats foods which are part of the Perricone diet.
The diet she swears by is an anti-inflammatory regimen that includes all food groups and healthy staples such as fresh salmon, forest fruits, green vegetables and extra-virgin olive oil, according to Pop Sugar.
According to nutritionists, it’s one of the healthiest for prioritising health eating over weight loss.
Dr Ruben Bravo of the European Medical Institute for Obesity told Think Spain: “There may be a thousand and one was of losing weight, but the end does not always justify the means, because you need to think about what’s good for your health long-term and not fall into a vicious circle of rebound weight gain, metabolism disorders and other risks that counteract the effectiveness of different slimming plans.”
He and other specialists at the institute have found just five diets which work well, with he Perricone regime at the top of the list.
It is rare to the seen the Spanish royal wearing such a revealing outfit. Earlier this week, she stepped out in a reserved colour scheme, choosing to wear a grey blue matching suit jacket and skirt which featured a floral blue design.
Meanwhile, King Felipe dressed in a dark grey pin stripe suit, which he teamed with a crisp white shirt, a purple tie to match with the one President Abbas was wearing and a pair of burgundy shoes.
Just last week, Letizia spoke at the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit 2017 in the Palace of Mines in Mexico City.
She met the President of the International Union Against Cancer to discuss how cities across the globe are tackling the fight against the disease.
