Puzzle that will have you scratching your head – can YOU solve this brain teaser?

The latest mind-bender looks simple enough, but can take minutes to solve.

It asks for people to find the mistake, followed by the numbers one to nine.

Each number is written out in a different primary colour, while the question is written in black.

Many have admitted it took them an unusually long time to spot the mistake, but can you see it?

Despite the implication the mistake is in the list of numbers, it is actually in the question.

The questions asks: “Can you find the the mistake?”

You may not have spotted it, but one word is written twice – “the”.

A video of the image was posted to YouTube where it went viral with 64,353 views.

Commenters were divided on how fast they found the mistake.

One joked: “Wow I can’t find the the mistake”.

Another bragged: “I found it in 3 seconds!”

One admitted: “Lol it took me an hour to figure it out”.

The simple looking brainteaser is not the only one baffling the internet at the moment.

An optical illusion has gone viral after it was shown to reveal how dirty the mind of people who looked at it is.

Many people when they look at this image for the first time might be convinced it’s an abstract drawing of a woman, which includes her torso, hips and a sizeable pair of breasts.

But this isn’t the only thing the picture can represent.
