PUBG Xbox One UPDATE 6: New Battlegrounds patch notes REVEALED – here's what update does

PUBG has just been given a big new update on Xbox One.

Patch 6 makes a slew of gameplay changes to Battlegrounds, not to mention bug fixes, optimisations and much more.

According to the Bluehole patch notes, auto run has been added to the game, and can be activated by double clicking L3.

Players can also drop equipped weapons when the inventory screen is active, while grenades can be cycled via the D Pad.

Perhaps more welcome are the various bug fixes and optimisations that should result in a smoother experience.

The update doesn’t include any , which is on the company’s radar.

The Miramar Desert map is also conspicuous by its absence. You can check out the full list of patch notes below.

GAMEPLAY

  • Auto-run function has been added (from a standstill, double clicking L3 will activate auto-run)
  • Players can now drop equipped weapons with Y button when inventory screen is active
  • Grenades can once again be cycled by tapping right on D pad
  • Players can now cancel casting actions while the inventory screen is active

  • Continued optimizations and crash fixes
