Fans have a couple of new PS4 games deals to watch out for over the coming weeks, some bigger than others.
The annual PS Plus Double Discounts promotion has returned to the PlayStation Store this week.
From now until 21st November you can get up to 30% off hundreds of PS4 titles and with the PS Plus promotion in place, some fans can get up to 60% off.
As mentioned above, there are loads of titles to choose from, including games like ARK Survival Evolved, Dishonored 2 and Middle-Earth Shadow of War.
This week’s promotion also includes Namco Bandai’s brawler, Tekken 7, with the game’s first Season Pass is also discounted until November 7.
There are also reports of another big PS4 games deal going on right now, offering another excellent discount.
Sony is reportedly sending out codes that give players the chance claim 40% off purchases on PSN.
“Brace yourself,” reads the alleged email being sent out. “We’re giving you a one-time 40% in-cart discount to use on whatever you want from the PlayStation Store.
“Just enter your code below at the checkout to discount everything in your basket.
“Be quick though, it expires on 4 November.”
The promotion is being run across the NA and EU regions, meaning it should be available to select UK subscribers.
So it will be worth checking your inbox to see if any new deals have been sent through by Sony.
Fans should note that they will need to have promotional emails turned on to receive these new deals via their PlayStation account.
It was also revealed this week that the PS4 continues to sell well for with Sony, 86.1 million PlayStation 4 units shipped so far.
This is an increase of around 4 million units from the last time the tech giant announced stats on the subject, back in August.
The recent Sony financial report also confirmed other more surprising numbers regarding the PS Plus subscription service.
It has now been confirmed that PlayStation Plus has helped bring about an 8% upward revision in sales.
This includes the sales of PS4 hardware, as well as increases in sales of the PlayStation Plus subscription service.
An exact share hasn’t been revealed but will be welcome news following the dip in subscribers during the time period of March 2018 to June 2018.
According to the data shared at the time, there were 34.2 million PlayStation Plus subscribers in March, compared to 33.9 million subscribers in June.
Sony has prioritised growing and maintaining PS Plus subscriptions as part of its business strategy moving forward.
