Princess Eugenie’s wedding day is just around the corner, and all eyes will be on the bride.
She may take wedding hair inspiration from previous brides Meghan Markle and Pippa Middleton on the big day, according to an expert.
Both Meghan and Pippa wore their hair up in an “up do” style on their wedding days.
The brides heavily photographed on their wedding days, and their looks were widely deemed a success.
Matthew Soobroy, Principal Stylish at Charles Worthington Salons, revealed Eugenie’s usual hair styles point towards a Meghan and Pippa style up-do on her own big day.
He told Express.co.uk: “Princess Eugenie usually chooses traditional hair styles, particularly above shoulder, mid- length hair with soft curls.
“I think that Eugenie will keep her hair style looking classic and traditional for her wedding day in October.
“Eugenie looks beautiful with her hair up, perhaps in a Hepburn-inspired chignon bun, kept soft around the face with a loose parting and a few tresses of hair out of the bun.”
There is another reason Eugenie might choose to follow in the footsteps of Pippa Middleton.
She has the same square face shape as Pippa, which is wider at the cheekbones and jaw.
This means, as a senior hairdresser, he would advise her to do a soft up do for a more romantic look, similar to Pippa’s.
Matthew also suggested a few more details Eugenie could add to her hairstyle.
He said: “Taking inspiration from Meghan Markle, the low chignon bun would be an elegant and romantic look for Eugenie.
“To create the fullness and thickness of Meghan’s bun, Eugenie could add hair extensions.
“Another big wedding trend this season has been the headband, as worn by both Meghan Markle and Pippa Middleton as well as jewelled clips.
“These are perfect for adding lovely decoration to a low bun knot.”
Will Princess Eugenie choose her sister Princess Beatrice, 29, as her maid of honour?
Princess Eugenie will have flower girls at her wedding to Jack Brooksbank, 31, it has been reported.
Three children including Princess Charlotte, 4, Maud Windsor, 4, and Theodora Rose, 5 – the daughter of Robbie Williams – will fulfil this special role on the big day, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
But will the child-only policy be waived for Princess Beatrice, so she can serve as maid of honour or head bridesmaid? Eugenie may well follow the example of Kate, who had sister as her maid of honour at her 2011 wedding alongside the flower girls.
