Pokemon Go update REVEALED: Sprint “Scavenger Hunt” as Niantic prime Fire and Ice event

Pokemon Go Promo Codes have been popping up for Android players in North America and now it seems more rewards are being offered up by the game’s official partners.

Cell Company Sprint have posted a series of new “Scavenger Hunts” participating players can join at their local stores.

The “Sprint and Boost Mobile Trainer Rewards” are only available in the United States are spread out between Boost Mobile locations in New York state Brighton, Colorado, and Woodland California.

Strangely, the rewards themselves are not actually connected to Pokemon Go bonuses but seem to be some kind of gift card promotion.

The new events are posted on the official Pokemon Go – Sprint rewards site, which also lists the Great Balls, Lucky Egg and Incense Giveaway as still active.

This involves going to a Spring store to pick up the above mentioned items, as well as 200 Trainer Rewards points.

The latest Pokemon Go news also suggests that an official special event is also set for release by developer Niantic.

It appears a new Pokemon Go Fire and Ice event event will be launching the week of E3 2017, with a set running time of June 13 9pm BST to June 20 9pm BEST, 2017.

The Pokemon Go update bonuses will allegedly revolve around Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws, as well as Curveballs and First Throws.

This means fans can pump up their EXP levels simply by catching normal wild Pocket Monster. There of course will be an increase in both Fire and Ice types during the event.

Another bonus is connected to discovering new sights while hatching eggs, this action will apparently give you a big exp bonus too.

As usual, it’s worth taking this latest report with a grain of salt as it could be a special mock-up, with a full statement on the new event having reached the internet today.

“With summer quickly approaching in the Northern Hemisphere and winter approaching in the Southern Hemisphere, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the upcoming solstices than with a Fire-type and Ice-type Pokémon GO event,” the leaked statement reads.

“From 1:00 P.M. PDT on June 13 to 1:00 P.M. PDT on June 20, 2017, Trainers around the world will discover more Charmander, Cyndaquil, Growlithe, Houndour, Ponyta, Swinub, Vulpix, and their Evolutions.

“You’ll also want to keep an eye out for Sneasel, Magmar, Cloyster, and other Fire types and Ice types!”
