Having got some very good news this week, Pokemon Go fans have been hit by a few ongoing gaming issues.
The Adventure Week event was recently announced and provided new bonuses to Trainers, some which were revealed, while others were kept secret.
Pokemon Go players were told that more Rock-types would spawn at a greater rate during the event, which is set to land until June 5.
They were also told that new Candy rewards were also available, while fresh Field Research could be undertaken to face Aerodactyl.
However, one of the most popular new parts of the event was not revealed officially by Niantic.
Fans have now discovered that there are new Shiny Pokemon to catch during Adventure Week.
This includes Kabuto, Kabutops, Omanyte, Omastar, and Aerodactyl, all of whom should be spawning at a higher rate.
The Shiny Aerodactyl is available through the special Raid introduced by Niantic this week too.
However, since their release, some Trainers have been finding it hard tracking them down.
And this probably has something to do with a new glitch that’s been discovered.
While it’s harmless enough and in no way game-breaking, it could prove extremely frustrating to Shiny hunters.
Players are reporting that Shiny variants aren’t been shown in the Catch Screen, with the Shiny model not appearing until the Pocket Monster has been caught, and checked in the official Pokedex.
While this could prove a nightmare for fans, there is an easy fix to remove the issue.
Trainers who think they may have been affected by this new glitch need to close the game and reopen it, which should reset the 3D model issue.
For those that don’t know, Shiny Pokemon are special variants that are rarer than normal Pokemon.
The only difference between them and normal varieties is that they have a different colour scheme.
These new Shiny Pokemon are available to catch now and will likely stick around until the end of event.
Adventure Week is set to end on June 5, so there’s plenty of time for Shiny hunters to try and catch’em all.
There are plenty of other rewards to be found away from the new Fossil variants that have been found by fans.
This includes Hatching two eggs to earn a Rare Candy reward, as well as being able earn three candies walking around with your chosen Buddy.
One of the other big rewards is unlocking a Raid Battle with Aerodactyl, who has also been reported to appear in a Shiny form.
It should be noted that fans will need to evolve a Kabuto or Omanyte during Adventure Week to have a chance at facing Aerodactyl.
It has a number of weaknesses, and is especially vulnerable against certain Electric and Water-type Pokemon.
Raikou and Kyogre are two of the best Pocket Monsters to use against Aerodactyl, while Zapdos is another solid choice.
