Piers Morgan REPLACED on Good Morning Britain as daytime TV favourites are reunited

Eamonn Holmes will be filling in for the controversial host as both Piers Morgan, 52, and Susanna Reid, 46, enjoy a well-earned break.

The 57-year-old, who presented GMTV and Sky Sunrise for 11 years, will take the reigns from Monday May 29 to Friday June 2.

Eamonn will be reunited with his former Sunrise co-host Charlotte Hawkins, 42, from Monday to Wednesday while Ranvir Singh, 39, will join him on Thursday and Friday.

The TV veteran hosted Good Morning Britain just last month, and told Express.co.uk that the job was a “privilege”.

What’s more, Eamonn will then be heading straight over to This Morning to present the ITV show with his wife Ruth Langsford, 57, for four days.

Neil Thompson, editor of Good Morning Britain, enthused: “Eamonn is a phenomenal broadcaster and journalist and it was great having him on the GMB team over Easter. I’m looking forward to having him back in the studio next week.”

Lorraine will also undergo a huge shake-up next week as former The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes, 28, replaces the Scottish presenter.

“I am so excited to be covering for Lorraine while she is off on holiday,” the mother-of-two beamed. “Lorraine is one of my favourites shows and it’s a real honour that I have been asked to look after things for a week. I can’t wait to get started!”

In a particularly eventful week on the ITV talk show, guests will include the likes of Zac Efron, singer Beth Ditto, Orange is The New Black’s Laverne Cox and Bridget Jones author Helen Fielding.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV while Lorraine will follow at 8.30am on the same channel.
