Paul Burrell BLASTED by viewers over In Therapy show amid Princess Diana BOMBSHELL

The 59-year-old ex-member of the royal household spoke to Harley Street  therapist Mandy Saligari about his sexuality and his relationship with Princess Diana.

At one point he even admitted to helping the late princess with her eating disorder, saying “I’d prepare the room to make sure she was comfortable. I’d make sure there was a pile of towels. I was doing my duty. I’d have done anything for Diana.”

His words led Saligari to call him out and ask him if he would have “injected her with heroin” if she’d asked.

But Burrell said he would not do such a thing and insisted that he would not do anything illegal.

She appeared shocked when Burrell seemed to think that drug addiction was more serious than eating disorders as he went into detail about what he would do for princess Diana.

Burrell also broke down as he spoke about the death of his mother and the princess, which the therapist described as being “enmeshed” with one another.

However, many people watching at home were left unimpressed by Burrell’s appearance in the programme and took to social media to blast him.

One person wrote on Twitter: “#paulburrell nothing regarding the princesses personal life was ever yours to discuss, involved or not. Horrid attention seeking man.”

While another posted: ” Hope Paul burrell crawls back into whatever hole he crawled out of and leave diana alone.”

“Omg. Paul Burrell is such a t**t!! Never heard someone so insincere in all my life!!” said a third audience member.

Others were more sympathetic to Burrell as one wrote: “Paul Burrell #InTherapy is what he needs but still the self importance is staggering and he betrays the royals at every turn. How?”

Another added: “Really not sure what to make of Paul Burrell in therapy but I love that she’s pushing him.”

The In Therapy episode comes as the world will stop to mark the 20th anniversary of the death of Princess Diana.

The tragedy is also being commemorated with a series of documentaries looking back at the vivacious and controversial princess.
