Overwatch Summer Games 2017 END TIME: Lucioball, event skins ending on PS4, Xbox One SOON

Overwatch Summer Games 2017 is coming to an end on PS4, Xbox One and PC, as Blizzard pulls the plug on the annual event.

The  Summer Games 2017 event has an August 28 end date, although Blizzard is yet to reveal the official end time.

The , so it’s possible it will end at 7pm on August 29.

However, if it’s anything like previous events, Summer Games 2017 could end at around 5pm PDT.

This would be particularly good news for UK fans, which means they can continue playing until 1am BST on August 30.

It would make sense for the Summer Games 2017 event to end at this time, because that’s the official end time for Competitive Season 5.

Express Online has contacted Blizzard for more information.

Either way, you don’t have long to unlock those Summer Games skins, which can be seen below…

The Overwatch Summer Games 2017 event sees the return of Lucioball, as well as a selection of new and old skins.

And unlike last year, the Overwatch Summer Games 2017 skins are also available to unlock via the credits system.

As an added bonus, the old skins introduced last year will be available at a slightly cheaper price.

Classic Summer Games skins will cost 1,000 credits, instead of the 3,000 credits it usually takes to unlock limited Legendary skins. The new skins will be sold at 3,000 credits.

New Summer Games 2017 cosmetic items will cost 3,000 for Legendary Skins, 750 credits for Epic skins, 225 credits for Rare tier items and 75 credits for common tier items.

That’s compared to returning Legendary skins at 1,000 credits, 2016 Epic skins for 250 credits, last year’s Rare tier items for 75 credits and 2016 Common tier items for just 25 credits.

The Overwatch Summer Games 2017 also introduces a second competitive mode for Lucioball, as well as a new arena in Sydney.

Copa Lucioball allows players to place and rank for the duration of the event.

Fans can unlock a special spray for playing the competitive mode, while the top 500 players will receive an additional special spray.

So if you’re closing in on the top 500, you’ll need to load up Copa Lucioball before the event ends.
