It’s been three years since Quentin Tarantino’s last movie, The Hateful Eight, was released. And this year his ninth, and supposedly penultimate, film called Once Upon A Time In Hollywood arrives in cinemas this summer. The all-star cast sees DiCaprio and Pitt star opposite Margot Robbie’s Sharon Tate, Al Pacino and more. So just when will the first trailer for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood arrive?
Well, today Vanity Fair shared an exclusive preview of the film, featuring new shots and set photos.
Usually when such an article lands it’s a hint we’re going to get a trailer soon.
And according to Trailer Track, the first teaser for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is likely to land within the next couple of weeks.
They write: “We mentioned that we wouldn’t be surprised if a trailer is with Sony’s MISS BALA, so the timing would make sense for it in the next two weeks.”
Last March Tarantino teased more information regarding Once Upon A Time in Hollywood’s plot.
He told the Hollywood Reporter: “[It’s] a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood.
“The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt).”
“Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognise anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbour…Sharon Tate.”
Margot Robbie was asked by Tarantino to play the late actress, who was murdered while pregnant by the Manson family.
The director added: “I’ve been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969, when I was seven years old.
“I’m very excited to tell this story of an LA and a Hollywood that don’t exist anymore. And I couldn’t be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio & Pitt as Rick & Cliff.”
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is released in UK cinemas on July 26, 2019.
