On TV, Steve Leonard saves our pets but he’s had his own health battle to win

It’s a busy morning at the practice where TV vet Steve Leonard works and while colleagues prepare a dog for surgery, Steve breaks off, washes his hands and has part of his lunch a few hours early. The star of BBC2’s Trust Me, I’m A Vet has learned the hard way that he needs to look after himself – and that includes eating regularly, taking breaks and getting enough sleep.
