Alexandra Burke and Elaine Paige unveiled the shortlist this afternoon ahead of the Catherine Tate-hosted ceremony on April 8.
The big takeaway is that Hamilton has broken the all-time record for the most nominations, with an astronomical 13 – beating Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Hairspray’s previous high bar of 11.
Other big names on the list include Imelda Staunton twice, plus Andrew Garfield, Bryan Cranston and six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald.
