Where is Not Going Out 2018 set?
Not Going Out is set mainly in the characters’ homes in suburbia.
This season follows Lee (played by Lee Mack) and Lucy (Sally Bretton) in the madness of a packed family house with kids Charlie (Finley Southby) and twin siblings, Benji (Max Pattison) and Molly (Francesca Newman).
The BBC series is actually set in London as shots of the city scape throughout the show’s run often show.
This is the ninth season of the long-running BBC comedy.
Where is Not Going Out 2018 filmed?
Not Going Out is filmed entirely in BBC studios in London in front of a live studio audience.
Multiple sets are used to depict the different houses, as well as coffee shops and other businesses in the sitcom.
The audience are situated in front of the sets to view the recordings and their reactions and laughter are captured and included in the broadcast.
Often, prerecorded live scenes are played back to the audience to capture the real laughter for the show’s laughter track.
Series creator Mack told Digital Spy last week: “I honestly never think about the audience. I wouldn’t know who’s watching it, and frankly I don’t care, so long as enough people are.
“I just think, ‘Do I like the final product?’ and then hope that enough people have got the same sense of humour.”

This season of the multi-award winning sitcom contains seven episodes.
The half hour episodes will air on Thursday nights at 8pm.
