Nintendo Switch fans have just been given some great news, as the games list gets a modern multiplayer classic.
Co-op multiplayer game Overcooked has been given a release date on the Nintendo Switch.
And fans won’t have to wait very long, because Overcooked: Special Edition hits the Nintendo Switch later this week.
Overcooked will join the Nintendo Switch eShop on July 27, where it will be available for £15.99.
As an added bonus, the Special Edition includes the base game, plus The Lost Morsel and Festive Seasoning expansions.
As the developers point out, the Switch version also has the portability element, as well as HD Rumble.

Overcooked: Special Edition includes 44 campaign levels, which are available in single player and co-op.
There’s also nine versus levels, which can be played in head-to-head local multiplayer.
Players can choose from 22 different chefs, including human characters, a racoon, dinosaur, French bulldog, robot and a reindeer.
There are also a variety of different kitchens and recipes that include soup, burritos, burgers, fish and chips and more.
“The Onion Kingdom is in danger and only the finest cooking can save it,” reads the official description.
“Players will journey through a campaign mode featuring a whole host of cruel and unusual kitchens on their quest to become master chefs capable of conquering an ancient edible evil which plagues the land!
“Traverse through the campaign solo or engage in classic, chaotic couch co-op for up to four players.
“You’ll have to cook a range of different dishes and work together to become the ultimate cooking team! You can even go head to head in nine versus competitive levels for either two or four players.”
