Neighbours resident Elly Conway (played by Jodi Anasta) is having a turbulent time in Erinsborough at the moment.
The Channel 5 soap is pregnant, but has sadly been forced into duping her lover, Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor), into thinking it’s his.
Fans will recall it’s actually Shaun Watkins’ (Brad Moller) baby, the brother of villain, Finn Kelly (Rob Mills).
Although the outcome of the plot is currently unknown, Bonnie Anderson, who plays Bea Nilsson, has suggested Elly could go back to former fling, Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly), Mark’s brother.
The pair hooked up last month when Elly and Mark had a lover’s tiff and a subsequent break.
Since the fleeting fling, many are wondering if “Chelly” will ever back back together for another moment.
Digital Spy caught up with Bonnie, who suggested her on-screen sister could go back to Chloe.
She teased: “I get asked this question a lot and I don’t know. I guess if they’re happy then why not?
“I feel a little bit sorry for Mark though. That’s another problem Bea has with it.
“She doesn’t think what Elly has done is acceptable really.”
Bonnie went on to explain how she believes Elly would only go back to Chloe if she had a good reason for it.
“I think if Elly and Chloe are happy, Bea will always stand by her,” the actress and singer revealed.
She finished: “As Bonnie, I love them together!”
Meanwhile, it seems Elly is about to go to drastic lengths to keep her baby secret hidden from Mark.
He can barely wait for the arrival of what he thinks is his first child and books in a scan for Elly.
However, Elly knows if they go to the scan together the dates won’t add up and she will be exposed.
She then tells her lover she went to the hospital already and produces an image for Mark to coo over.
But in a sick twist, it’s actually Mark’s dead child from his relationship with Steph Scully (Carla Bonner).
What will Mark say when he eventually finds out her sordid secret?
