A scientist has up and made a ton of monsters AND a fog that is steadily consuming the world, yet somehow doesn’t seem to see any problems with this. That’s where our long-haired, poorly-equipped hero comes in, one who players will guide while exploring the countryside and the scientist’s hideout and arm with the items they find along the way in Mortal Manor.

Mortal Manor gives players a great deal of areas to comb through as they work to stop the scientist’s cranky creations. These monsters, all somewhat silly-looking but still quite hostile, can be taken out with an array of different weapons players can collect, or they can be avoided outright using the handful of relics that increase the player’s mobility. Double jumps, slides, and a grappling hook are just some of the ways players will be able to move around, letting them quickly bypass these irritable experiments.

Mortal Manor aims to be a challenging experience filled with secrets, offering players many neat gadgets to play with as they work to apply some rules and regulations on a scientist who clearly needs some boundaries set for him.

Mortal Manor is available for $ 6.99 on Steam. For more information on the game and developer Dogless Head Games, you can follow them on YouTube and Twitter.
