Monster Hunter World players will next month be able to take part in the Spring Blossom Festival, the game’s first ever seasonal event.
The Monster Hunter World Spring Blossom Festival has a release date of Friday April 6 and brings with it a number of limited-time activities for players.
The start times for the first Monster Hunter World seasonal event are as follows:
• Midnight BST
• 1am CEST
• 8pm EDT
• 5pm PDT
The Monster Hunter World event will also end at the same times on Thursday April 19.
The event will see the Gathering Hall given a colourful, flowery makeover.
There will also be a giant lantern shaped like the loveable Poogie on display and fireworks will be set off every night.
Monster Hunter World NPCs will get into the spirit of the Spring Blossom Festival by donning themed costumes.
While Palicos will dress up as adorable butterflies.
It will also see the return of certain discontinued event quests, while players will get two Lucky Voucher items for every daily login.
And there will be a new “special platter” available during the event, so tuck in and enjoy!
During the event a new quest will also unlock that will give hunters the opportunity to create the Great Sword, Wyvern Ignition.
Players will unlock materials to craft the weapon, which was the winner of the community Weapon Design Contest.
Capcom will also hand out tickets to craft the Mega Man Palico gear that was announced back in December.
The Mega Man Event quest will kick off while the Spring Blossom Festival in Monster Hunter World is taking place (April 13 – April 27).
The first seasonal event for Monster Hunter World is launching after last week saw update 2.00 get released.
The major Monster Hunter World patch brought with it the Deviljho content to the game.
Having been teased for a little while the new MHW Deviljho hunt is now available to those brave enough to take on the challenge.
In the patch notes, Capcom teases: “I hope you’ve been gearing up for this hunt with such an insatiable and relentless beast.
“No one is safe from the deadly jaws of the Deviljho; not even other monsters.
“This fearsome Brute Wyvern is sure to wreak some serious havoc and bring massive headaches to any unsuspecting hunters… but those who fell this violent beast will be handsomely rewarded.
“Bring Deviljho materials to the Workshop and they’ll be able to craft 2 complete armor sets—Vangis and Vangis as well as a new entry in each of the 14 existing weapon types, including brand new Deviljho designs for Sword and Shield, Hunting Horn, Bow, Insect Glaive and Charge Blade.”
