Money Heist fans still have a lot of unanswered questions heading into the final season of the show. One of the main ones revolves around Tokyo’s (played by Ursula Corbero) narration in the show. Many have been left wondering why she is the one telling the story and who is she talking to – here are some of the biggest theories.
Who is Tokyo narrating her story to in Money Heist?
The final season of La Casa de Papel is heading to Netflix in 2021.
The outing is expected to tie up all of the loose ends of the crime drama as it is revealed how – or if – the team escaped the Bank of Spain.
One thing fans are also hoping will be addressed is to do with Tokyo’s narration.
As fans will know, throughout the series so far, Tokyo has been telling the story in a voiceover.

This is based on the theory Sierra will flip allegiances in season five and will join the gang.
Another person Tokyo could be speaking to is a police officer or a judge, according to Nastie22.
They speculated: “I think the gang fakes their own death and Tokyo will stay in order to corroborate the story and she narrates the story to a judge or a police officer.”
While user JanKweong705 had an even more unique theory, arguing Tokyo could already be dead.
The fan wrote: “Or maybe she’s the one who dies and recalls the memory to herself.”
Whatever the real reason is, viewers will be hoping this is revealed in season five.
So far a release date has not yet been announced for the show but it is expected to come out in 2021.
As well as this, creator Alex Pina has teased a brief synopsis about what will happen.
