Mira Rainbow Six Siege: New Operators for 2017 revealed alongside Free Weekend launch time

The first preview of the new G.E.O Operator, Mira – one of two new operators available as part of the upcoming Operation Velvet Shell – was released today by Ubisoft.

In the short clip you can see that Mira is able to breach reinforced walls, although the studio has teased that there’s a few more secrets to be revealed.

“The charge punches a perfect, rectangular murder hole through the steel barricade, but there’s more to it than that – and you can see what happens next when Velvet Shell is revealed in full during the Six Invitational, which runs from February 3-5,” a message from Ubisoft teases.

Ubisoft has confirmed that Rainbow Six Siege’s Mira is one of two new Operators from Spain’s Grupo Especial de Operaciones (GEO), along with her cohort Jackal, who will be released on February 7.

They’ll both be available to unlock and command when the Velvet Shell DLC arrives and both Operators, along with the new Coastline map on the Spanish island of Ibiza, will be shown on February 2 in a series of livestreamed panels during the Six Invitational.
