Melania Trump, 47, appeared at the Invictus Games this weekend as the representative for the US, without her husband by her side.
Melania sat next to Prince Harry, 33, at the games, and cordially greeted Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, 47, and his wife Sophie Grégoire, 42.
Each First Lady brought their own style to the occasion, but who won out overall in the fashion stakes?
In typical high-glamour style US First Lady Melania wore a Dior pant suit in a smart houndstooth check.
The double-breasted jacket, which was nipped in at the waist, had fairly large lapels and six buttons, also in houndstooth check.
Wide-legged trousers with a sharp seam at the front were finished off with simple black stilettos.
Melania kept her nails nude and her make-up simple, letting her blowdried hair take centre stage as her main accessory.
The look was clearly inspired by the working woman’s wardrobe, and oozed professionalism, showing Melania was taking her first solo appointment as the US First Lady very seriously.
Sophie Gregoire, on the other hand, opted for a much more feminine look.
The Canadian First Lady chose a folk-inspired dress, which showed a considerable amount of tanned leg.
The pretty peasant-style smock dress was black, and featured red and blue embroidery, with flowers and swallows incorporated into the design.
Like Melania, Sophie opted for nude nails and simple make-up, however, she added eye-catching gold stiletto heels to the look – brightening the ensemble up.
In a previous Express.co.uk poll, 64 per cent of readers thought Melania Trump has the best style of the two first ladies, but who looked better on this occasion?
Also appearing at the event was Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle, who wore a plum-hued ensemble of a dress and leather jacket.
The couple appeared in public together for the first time since they began dating over a year ago.
