Melania Trump, 47, has had all eyes on her recently following the breaking news that her husband, Donald Trump, 71, had an affair with adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
Her husband has denied the allegations of an affair and is currently seeking legal action.
The First Lady didn’t appear to be letting it bother her as she made a surprise visit to the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital in Florida.
She bought Easter gifts and treats for many of the young patients there, meeting many of the families.
The 47-year-old showed off her elegant fashion choices in a patterned midi dress for the occasion.
The monochrome dress featured elbow-length sleeves with a flattering monochrome striped pattern.
It was an appropriate outfit for her hospital visit with a slight v neck and asymmetric hem keeping the look demure.
A black belt nipped in her small waist and matched the black stilettos Melania was sporting.
With minimal jewellery and her long hair in a classic blow-dry, the elegant outfit flaunted her trim body.
She was seen talking with nurses and laughing as she worked her way around the hospital during the visit.
No reporters were present at the hospital having not been made aware of the unscheduled visit.
The Flotus Twitter account read: “FLOTUS just finished a surprise visit to @StMarysMC to deliver #Easter baskets & spend time w some of their brave patients!
“Wishing everyone a happy & healthy holiday weekend.”
Her communications director Stephanie Grisham remarked on her personal Twitter that “the children lit up when [Melania] walked in the room”.
Melanie also wrote on her Instagram account: “Enjoyed my visit to @StMarysMC today.
“So great to spend time with some of their brave patients and hard working doctors and nurses.”
The First Lady has been under scrutiny for her reaction since her husband was accused of having an affair with Stormy Daniels.
She spent Sunday at the Mar a-Lago resort by herself after the actress took to Anderson Cooper’s 60 minutes telling her story.
Donald Trump is denying the claims and is seeking payment in court from Miss Daniels for allegedly breaching a non-disclosure agreement.
Stephanie Grisham issued a statement on Twitter: “While I know the media is enjoying speculation & salacious gossip, I’d like to remind people there’s a minor child whose name should be kept out of news stories when at all possible.”
