Melania Trump steps out in khaki ensemble as she heads to New Jersey

Melania Trump styled the khaki military jacket with some elegant cream trousers.

She stepped out with chic heeled stilettos to complete the look.

It’s a departure from her recent footwear having chosen some flat pumps and trainers for her recent outings to Florida after Hurricane Irma.

The former-model kept the beauty simple with her usual blow-dry and oversized sunglasses.

The First Lady was seen with her husband Donald Trump as they headed to New Jersey for the weekend.

The President will be attending the United National General Assembly in New York the week after, with Melania expected to join him.

It comes after she hosted the reception for the White House Historical Association with Donald.

She styled an elegant silver beaded gown for the event.

Her footwear choices have come under scrutiny recently.

Many deemed it inappropriate to wear heeled shoes when heading to visit the flood victims following Hurricane Irma in Florida.

The First Lady appeared to bow to pressure when stepping out yesterday to head back to the state.

She was seen in a monochrome outfit, offset with a pair of Chanel ballet pumps.

The 47-year-old has also shown her love of bags, stepping out with four different styles since moving into the White House in June.

These four bags are shown to be worth a huge young of money, with the cheapest being the Epsom Birkin bag for £14,341.

However the most expensive of the bags she has been seen with is the black patent Hermes Birkin bag at an eye-watering price of £60,170.37 on luxury sales site One Lifestyle Management.

With these added up, it comes to a whopping £95,642.87, yet Melania has not disclosed how much she has paid for them.
