Melania Trump height: How does Donald's wife compare to former First Lady Michelle Obama?

Melania Trump may have the youthful appearance of someone half her age but the US First Lady is 47 years old. 

She is known for her modelling past having worked as a fashion model for agencies in Milan, Paris and New York, and as you would expect of a model, Melania towers above many she meets. 

The First Lady more often than not steps out for public appearances in a pair of sky scraper heels, which could add some considerable height to her frame. 

But what is Melania’s actual height? 

The Slovenian-born beauty is reportedly 5’’9. 

She is just eight inches shorter than her husband Donald Trump, 71, who is said to stand around 6’’2 and their son Barron, 11, who appears in photos just a few inches shorter than the US President, is reportedly near the height of 5’’11. 

But how does Melania’s height compare to former First Ladies’ over the last ten years?

While Michelle Obama, 53, might not have a modelling past, the former First Lady married to Barack Obama, stands at the same height as Melania – 5’’9. 

Laura Bush, 71, who is married to former US President George W. Bush, 71, is several shorter than Melania and Michelle at 5’’3.

Hilary Clinton, 70, who ran for US President alongside Donald Trump, and who is married to former US President Bill Clinton, 71, is reportedly 5’’4 or 5’’5. 

Again, she is considerable shorter than Melania. 

So while Melania takes the top spot for being tallest First Lady over the last ten years. 

Another question people have been found to ask about the US First Lady is her religion.

It is believed she was secretly baptised by the Roman Catholic parish priest of St. Lawrence’s Church in Raka, on June 14, 1970.

And Melania still ascribes to the religion today. In May, Melania’s spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham confirmed to DailyMail.com that Melania is Catholic.

Confirmation of her religion by her spokesperson came shortly after the First Lady met with Pope Francis earlier this year.
