Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will marry on May 19 – and many are excited about the new edition to the Royal Family.
In fact, research commissioned by VoucherCodesPro.co.uk, has found that Britons believe Meghan is the most relatable female royal, after her husband-to-be Prince Harry, who came in top place.
The survey asked 2,311 Britons aged over 18 their thoughts on the British Royal Family.
Kate Middleton, on the other hand, came only fifth in terms of reliability.
Nearly a third of those asked “Which members of the Royal Family do you feel are most relatable/in tune with the public?” chose Meghan as their answer.
Only 13 per cent felt that Kate Middleton was the most relatable member of the Royal Family.
Eleven per cent of those who chose Meghan as their most relatable royal did so because “she’s a feminist.”
The majority of respondents stated it was because “she was an actress in the public eye before the engagement” (31 per cent), whilst others stated it was because “she seems so down to earth” (14 per cent).
Respondents were asked why they felt Kate Middleton wasn’t so relatable.
Forty-nine per cent responded: “She’s been moulded into someone else since marrying into the family”.
Twenty-eight per cent said: “She never seems to do or say anything”.
Princess Beatrice of York came in at joint third place with 15 per cent, sharing her spot with the Duke of Edinburgh.
George Charles, spokesperson for VoucherCodesPro.co.uk, commented: “Whether you know what the monarchy do and whether you love them or not, you can’t deny that they’re a huge attraction in the UK for foreign visitors.
“And I bet most people confess that they’ll find themselves glued to the TV when there’s a Royal Wedding or something similar. Love or hate them, we’re all a little bit obsessed with them, even if it’s a guilty pleasure of ours.”

The final season of Suits, which Meghan does star in, will be released on March 28 on Netflix.
