Meghan Markle and Prince Harry wedding mistakenly ‘confirmed’ by close friend

Former US marine and Paralympic hopeful Kirstie Ennis, 26, was asked whether she would be at the “upcoming wedding” by reporters.

Nodding, she replied: “I don’t think I’m worried about the wedding. I’m worried about the after party.”

Quickly realising she had said too much, Ennis said she was “pleading the fifth” when pushed further.

Prince Harry, 33, became friends with Ennis after the pair met at a Walking With the Wounded charity event.

These recent comments are not the only suggestion Meghan, 35, and the Prince are set to wed soon.

Friends have claimed the Prince is keen to settle down as soon as possible – and has even set himself a deadline.

Insiders told the Mail on Sunday the fifth in line to the throne wants to propose to his LA-born girlfriend before he turns 33.

The Prince’s birthday falls on September 15, giving Harry just three months to ask Meghan Markle to marry him.

They also noted the Invictus Games a week after the date would be the right time to announce Meghan, 35, as his fiancé.

One source told the publication: “Harry has found the girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with. He is fuelling all the talk about the future.”

There have also been claims the Suits actress was spotted trying on wedding dresses in Canada, where she lives.

Ms Markle was out looking for an evening dress in Canada when she decided to check out wedding gowns, according to a friend.

They told The Sun: “She thought it’d be fun.

“She was with a couple of friends and they all thought she looked gorgeous.”

The American actress tried on two outfits by the Toronto-based designer Paloma Blanca.

One was a traditional outfit with a strapless bodice and ruffled skirt, the other had an exposed midriff.
