The show looks at the rise of the porn industry in 1970s New York and naturally features a wealth of saucy sex scenes.
In one such erotic scene, Candy dons a blonde wig and locks lips with another woman while revealing her bare breasts.
She is seen kneeling on the floor while staring up at two naked men before partaking in a lesbian scene with a fellow porn star.
The pair writhe around on a bed, eventually stripping each other naked for the adult film.
Maggie, 39, recently spoke out about her risqué new role to Time Out, explaining: “She gets involved in the beginnings of porn in someone’s basement.
“And even though there’s two naked guys and another naked woman and they’re filming sex, that’s incidental to her.”
“What’s exciting for her is the lighting, the idea of looking at sex through a lens. It’s the birth of an artist. Once that gets woken up in her, it can’t go back to sleep.”
James Franco, 39, directed some of Maggie’s scenes as well as starring in the new show.
He recently praised his co-star’s performance to Men’s Health, adding: “[Maggie] is fearless and she really led the charge with how she handled the sex scenes and how she handled herself, and really set the template for everyone else.”
The Deuce debuts on Sky Atlantic on 26 September at 9pm.
