Tonight’s instalment of the ITV2 hit show saw air hostess Amy, 26, fighting to understand exactly what it was that broke down in her relationship with Curtis, 23.
While the pair’s romance had seemed stronger than ever when she went away to the next villa, Curtis had been hiding his true feelings for a while.
And now the preview for Sunday night’s episode shows Amy getting incredibly upset when she spies Curtis showing Irish beauty Maura how to dance on the garden patio, something he’d never done with her in Love Island.
Maura and Curtis can be seen laughing and giggling, and it’s borderline flirtatious as Amy’s jaw drops open from across the villa.
Furious with the situation, she spits: “He’s such a f*****g p***k.”
Strong words – is Amy about to explode as things turn nasty between the pair?
And how will Amy react when she realises her friend Maura is harbouring secret feelings for her ex?
In the kitchen during tonight’s instalment, Maura had a chat with Curtis about how he felt following the split.
Yet just as they talked, a white feather suddenly landed on the kitchen surface.
Taken-aback, Maura told the dancer: “They say that a white feather is an angel close-by trying to tell you something.
“Have you not heard about that?”
“Continue. Elaborate,” Curtis urged, interested in the topic.
“I’ve always thought [been told] it’s a sign – that it means something,” Maura went on.
“I wonder what it means,” Curtis pondered, and the pair shared a moment.
“We might not ever know,” Maura smiled finally.
Maura later shared her true feelings with Lucie Donlan on the bean bags.
“He’s obviously gorgeous. He’s very manly and I love that,” she said. “He’s funny. He’s the whole package for me.”
Lucie was stunned by Maura’s confession, shaking her head. “Wow!” she cried, lost for words.
“There have been so many times where I want him to teach me how to dance,” Maura added, as it looks like the contestant will get her wish.
But did Amy hint at what’s to come in tonight’s episode when she said “let’s swap” to Maura?
Love Island 2019 continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV2.
