It has been no secret that Love Island fans have already pleaded for Danny Dyer to enter the villa should his daughter Dani Dyer make it as far as the family reunions.
But following last night’s emotional episode which saw Adam Collard smirking and showing no signs of remorse, as Rosie Williams poured her heart out about Adam now wanting to go out with Zara McDermott, fans have called for the Eastenders actor to enter the villa and have words with the Geordie lad.
Viewers saw Danny’s daughter Dani left fuming over Adam’s behaviour and vented in the Beach Hut.
“How long can Adam get away with this for? It upsets me because he’s not really admitting it,” she began.
“He’s basically making Rosie feel like it’s all her fault and ‘this is why I’m doing this’ and ‘my head’s been turned because of this’.”
“No mate it’s just because you want your cake and you want to eat it.
“It’s just not fair, I don’t like it,” Dani added.
Viewers also didn’t like it and called on producers to recruit Dani’s tough guy dad to give Adam a stern talking to.
Taking to Twitters, Love Island 2018 fans expressed their views.
One said: “Wish Danny Dyer was Rosie’s dad’s mate Adam wouldn’t be so smug then.”
“Kinda wished Adam had done that to Dani instead of Rosie so we could witness Danny Dyer storming into the villa and leaving Adam a shadow of his former self,” another posted.
A third called for a petition, writing: “Let’s start a petition to get #DannyDyer over to #loveisland and ‘sort out’ Adam.”
“We think Danny Dyer needs to stride on into that villa and give Adam a right ol’ talkin’ to because that boy’s been ‘Propa Nawty’ #LoveIsland,” one Twitter user commented.
A fifth asked: “How do we get Danny Dyer in the villa to call Adam a mug? #LoveIsland.”
There is a slight possibility that a Danny vs Adam showdown could happen after the actor previously joked he was heading into the villa to see “slice of a geezer” Jack Fincham who has coupled up with his daughter since the start of the reality show.
Danny posted a picture of himself on his Instagram page, “skydiving” into the Spanish villa for some “cheeky tequilas” with the stationary salesman.
After a rocky start, Jack and Dani have remained the most stable couple in the villa and remain the fans firm favourite, with Coral releasing their odds at 4-6 individually and 8-11 as the winning couple.
New couple Dr Alex George and Ellie Brown are in second place with odds at 8-1.
Love Island 2018 returns tonight at 9pm on ITV.
