The former Great British Bake Off star made an epic fail during the charity fundraiser as fans and Sue Perkins noticed her glaring camel toe.
The 48-year-old sported a vibrant red jumpsuit with flared sleeves which clung in all the unfortunate places.
Her co-host Sue, 47, happily pointed out the fashion faux pas live in front of millions: “Now Mel have you comeback from a show business skydive today?”
Mel joked: “I’m a skater from the Soviet era.”
Grabbing her waist as she de-weighed her ensemble, she added: “Now I just have to do that slightly.”
“That’s bunching, I can tell you that,” Sue fired back. “That’s really bunching.”
Naturally, viewers were quick to highlight the gaffe on Twitter, with one viewer posting: “Camel toe alert on tonight’s show,” which was followed by: “Mel looks like she’s going to be shot out of a cannon.”
Last night’s final of Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief saw stars of ITV’s The Chase – made up of Mark Labbet, Anne Hegerty, Shaun Wallace and Jenny Ryan – triumph with their medley of songs from The Wizard of Oz.
Mark dressed as the cowardly lion, Anne pretended to be the Scarecrow, Shaun was the Tin Man while Jenny starred as Dorothy Gale.
