Kate Middleton, 36, and Prince William, 35, stepped out in Stockholm, Sweden this morning for their first day of a four day tour.
The couple were in Vasaparken, an outdoor ice skating rink, to watch a bandy hockey event.
A popular sport in Sweden, they met local players on the ice.
Kate wrapped up warmly for the trip, wearing a black coat trimmed with fur.
She matched this with black gloves which had a grey fur lining.
A Fair Isle jumper could be seen peeking out underneath her coat, and she wore a burgundy scarf to cover her neck.
The Duchess kept her head warm with a thick grey hat which featured a grey fur pom pom, and her hair could be seen perfectly tonged underneath.
William matched his wife with a red knitted hat and burgundy scarf.
Kate and William are undergoing the four day tour – probably their last before Kate gives birth in April – without their two children.
Despite the young royals joining their parents on tours in the past, there could be a particular reason why they will remain in London this time.
Both children are still in school, and Kate and William are likely to be keen not to interrupt their education.
Princess Charlotte in particular has only just started nursery, so attending this tour would disrupt her routine.
Earlier today, it was revealed just how much work goes in to Kate’s immaculate looks while she is abroad.
Her hairdresser, Amanda Cook Tucker, shared an image to Instagram of the many brushes and tools she needs to achieve Kate’s signature style.
Good Morning Britain shared the image, and presenter Charlotte Hawkins said: “There’s no such thing as a bad hair day when you’re married to the future King of England.
“13 brushes, 7 combs, 2 hairdryers and 3 curling tongs – that’s what it takes to make the hair look like that.”
