The clip, seen above, teases the destructive relationship between Jones’ character Carl and his mother Aileen, played by Anne Reid.
Sinead Matthews also stars as Abby.
Touted as a modern-day Pyscho, the clip teases a tense film bolstered by killer performances.
The film is out on November 10 in the UK.
Kaleidoscope premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival earlier this year to wide acclaim, with Jones telling iNews: “In a way, as soon as you deal with a single environment and a mother and son, you evoke Hitchcock.
“Those things are so fundamental to film history they’re kind of unavoidable.
“You have to acknowledge your debt to that, but also explain that you’re trying to explore those things in a different way.”
Reid in particular has been lauded – winning the Best Performance prize at the aforementioned festival.
It’s a particularly notable dramatic turn for the British legend, who has most recently become well-known for starring in comedy drama Last Tango In Halifax.
Kaleidoscope is out on November 10.
