Jaw-Dropping Images of Moscow as Winter Wonderland

It’s no great stretch to associate Moscow with the winter – after all, the stock image of a Russian usually includes full coat, furry hat, the whole nine yards. What we’ve seldom seen are representations of the beauty of the Russian winter, and that’s where Kristina Makeeva comes in.

Her fairy-tale photos of snowy Moscow came to our attention on Bored Panda – images that look more like cels of an animated cartoon than photographs of a city in the dead of winter. She was kind enough to let us share our favorites; if you’d like to see more, check out her site or follow her on Instagram.
