American fashion designer Kate Spade was tragically found dead in her New York City apartment yesterday.
The beloved designer, known for her handbags and dresses, received hundreds of tributes on social media, from fans and famous face alike.
One of those leaving a tribute was Ivanka Trump, who posted a touching tribute to Kate on her Instagram page.
Kate, who was married to Andy Spade, left behind a 13-year-old daughter.
The post showed an screenshot of a quote saying: “She leaves a little bit of sparkle wherever she goes – Kate Spade.”
The late fashion designer racked up a huge following of royal and celebrity fans, including Ivanka and Kate Middleton, since the creation of her eponymous brand back in 1993.
Ivanka captioned the post with heartfelt memorial to Kate that read: “Kate Spade’s tragic passing is a painful reminder that we never truly know another’s pain or the burden they carry.
“If you are struggling with depression and contemplating suicide, please, please seek help. National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255”
The post quickly gained attention, racking up 96,897 likes and hundreds of comments also paying tribute to the late American fashion designer.

Another Instagram fan of Ivanka’s wrote: “Very sad. She left behind beautiful work! May she Rest in Peace.”
Taking to Twitter to pay another tribute to Kate, former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton also shared her condolences to the Spade family.
She posted to her 2.3 million follower: “My grandmother gave me my first Kate Spade bag when I was in college. I still have it. Holding Kate’s family, friends and loved ones in my heart.”

Ivanka’s touching tribute has another poignancy, with the 36-year-old revealing her own struggles with mental health last year.
Speaking to US Dr. Mehmet Oz on The Dr. Oz Show, Ivanka said: “With each of my three children I had some level of postpartum depression.”
