ITV viewers slam advert breaks in Harry and Meghan’s Oprah interview ‘Been 9 minutes!’

Elsewhere, Oprah asked: “Were you silent or silenced?” And Meghan replied: “The latter.”

The Duchess of Sussex explained her friends and family were told to give no comment to any members of the press once her relationship with Harry was made public.

She said: “It was only once we were married and everything started to really worsen that I came to understand the not only was I not being protected but that they were willing to lie to protect other members of the family.

“But they weren’t willing to tell the truth to protect me and my husband.”
